9/18/14 - Reviewed "Gift of the Magi" by O. Henry and discussed the R.A.C.E.E. model. Students wrote a short answer, peer reviewed, and wrote a final draft of the short answer.

9/16/14 - Students signed up for Remind 101. Reviewed "irony" and completed a journal write. Read "The Gift of the Magi" in class textbook. Began R.A.C.E.E. model breakdown
*Tutorials tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon will be cancelled. Ms. Pierce will be in Austin for a teacher event all day.
9/12/14 - Went to Library to check out Independent Reading books. Took Grammar Pre-Test to assess students level of grammar.
* Open House is Monday, September 15th from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Please stop by for a visit!
*Report cards will be finalized today. Any missing assignments will be reflected on the report.
9/10/14 - Discuss non-linear plot structure. Read: "Currents" as a class.
